We have worked collaboratively with the Crossfields Institute to develop this specialist Early Years qualification. Montessori Centre International, as a lead development partner, has also provided subject expertise and content in the development of this qualification.
Who is this qualification suitable for?
This qualification is available for learners aged 18+ in England only.
What is the aim of this qualification?
The aim of this qualification is to provide the learner with the expertise, skills and professional approach needed to become a facilitator of Montessori education, including classroom-based and placement hours. The Level 4 qualification also includes preparation to take on a leadership role in a Montessori setting. This qualification has been built to meet the criteria for Early Years Educators required by the National College for Teaching and Leadership (NCTL) which were developed in response to the Department for Education and NCTL’s More Great Childcare report.

Crossfields Institute is responsible for the ongoing delivery and centre quality assurance of this qualification. As a specialist qualification there are particular requirements which all centres must meet in order to gain approval in terms of both staff expertise and resources.
